Men and boys Mark McIlroy 22.03.2026 Many people have the complete opposite idea of what characteristics separate men from boys. So here is my list. Sex: Boys (pornography and self-pleasure), Young men (sex with adult women, frequently), Old men (sex with adult women, occasionally) Recklessness: Boys (wild and reckless), Men (careful and serious) Safety: Boys (No awareness of safety), Men (acutely aware of safety) Respect: Boys (overconfident and no respect), Men (some have respect) Family: Boys (not strong enough for family), Men (family orientated) Women: Boys (in awe of females), Men (stands equally beside women) Hobbies: Most people would like to be free. In reality, most men have hobbies. Violence: Some people, whether female or male, are violent. This is not necessary and is not a sign of adulthood it is a weakness. This can be due to immaturity, or being forced into a position with no personal space. Marriage: In my opinion marriage is a sign of adulthood. Boys and girls do not have marriage. Money: It is my strong opinion that the amount of money that a person has is not relevant to their level of adultness. Boys are human beings, just as girls and adult men and women. They deserve respect the same as any other person. Some people, especially when accusing a grown man, use the word 'boy' with contempt as if it is a bad thing, and a thing that doesn't deserve respect. At least if a person uses this word about a young male or an accusation about a fully-grown male, they can say it normally. Boys, as with girls, adult Men and adult Women, should be considered worthwhile human beings who deserve to have good things. Other notes: Sex: also includes Children (no knowlege of sex) and sick, weak people (sexual interest in children). No unnatural parts of the body should touch the genitals of a man (mouth, hand etc) otherwise it turns you into a boy.
